Rachel Slade

Rachel has always had a love for the natural world. Working from her studio on the edge of Dartmoor, where she can connect with the wildlife, she creates these life size studies of birds. Modelled from clays of different colours and the use of raw oxides give the pieces a natural earthy tone.
